Kim Warsen is a Swedish born citizen of the world. After living in Spain for 10 years, he went back to Sweden, where he now lives in the woods. Kim is an unsung hero of the underground music scene in Madrid. A genuine artist travelling off the beaten track, Kim Warsen has left his mark in the Spanish alternative scene. Now, his creative energy and indomitable spirit have leaded him into his new project, War San.
Straight out of the depths of the Swedish forest, WAR SAN takes you on an atmospheric trip that explores the struggle to find harmony. Between lullabies to loved ones and oneself, each of the seven songs on Silent Talk hides a primitive ritual soundscape aiming to put rage and destruction to sleep.
On this record, WAR SAN has laid his self-examining stories and murmuring voice in the hands of Syrian musicians and singers. Together they create a dreamy landscape that could recall stories from us all.
WAR SAN will also publish soon the album New Religious Movements on vinyl by the Spanish label Batir Records.
