The Slingshots were born in 2008 when eight guys came together with one goal only: get down and dirty with the funk. With a backgrounds in jazz, rhythm & blues, soul, funk, rock, ska, hip-hop, reggae and bossa nova and hailing from Canada, Brazil and Spain, the band members know how to lay down a fatty groove, and they've proven that already by playing live alongside bands like Osaka Monaurail, Kokolo and The New Mastersounds.
