Watch TV, this time with The Lovemonk Allstars backing him up, is at it again with this irresistible piece of tropical dancefloor madness, a cover version of Barrabás' classic track from 1972. Wild Safari kicks off in Afrobeat style but soon turns into a roaring mix of broken beats, Caribbean percussion, house, funk and the good Reverend Gene García's chants and rants.

Darshan Jesrani then takes the track on in true Metro Area fashion – a 9-minute excursion into disco not disco.

Some background info:
Watch TV is Rubén García from Madrid, Spain. With releases on Evil Tunes and HiTop, remixes for the likes of Beady Belle, Dublex, Inc. and Quantic and deejay sets all over Europe he is one of leading DJ/producers of the Spanish underground clubscene.

Darshan Jesrani is a busy little bee. Deejaying all over the world, with Morgan Geist he forms the award-winning New York disco/wave/pop outfit Metro Area, while with Dan Balis (Escort) he is Arcade Lover. His writing and production skills were also used on Tracey Thorne's debut album.
